By Jeff Baird, Sunrise Reiki Colorado

Years ago, when I first started having success with Distance Reiki sessions, one of my clients shared the following words with me. “Whenever I see your peace sign and ‘Reiki on the way’ text I immediately begin to feel better because I know the cavalry is on the way.” When I was still doing in-person sessions out of our home another client touched my heart with her words one day after her session. “I begin to finally relax when I start driving up the hill to see you. It’s like I can finally breathe. I’m going to see Jeff. Yay.”

I have been blessed by hearing so many amazing things from people who have discovered the wonder of Reiki. Regardless of the situation, Reiki always delivers healing energy for our highest good. Reiki to the Rescue? Yep. I’ve seen it happen countless times. That’s why I write about it so often.

For Reiki practitioners it is critical that we maintain a high vibration regardless of what is happening around us. Staying grounded during turbulent times can bring a sense of balance and a feeling of strength as we keep the positive energy flowing before we attempt to help another soul. My daughter, who is also a Reiki Master, says, “You can’t half ass it” when it comes to Reiki. She’s right. If you are sick or just not feeling it, that’s okay. Self-Reiki is so important. Use the energy on yourself as you begin to heal and get back on track. Take it from one who learns everything the hard way, self-care cannot be overemphasized. Take care of yourself first so that you are coming from a place of abundance rather than depleted energy as you help others.

There is no shortage of people or places that need Reiki at this very moment. Reiki always delivers three things – 1. Peace 2. Love 3. Hope. Our world could not need what I call “The Big 3” anymore than it does right now. As Reiki practitioners we are very busy these days. We were led to the amazing life force energy and timing is everything. Our time is now as we help heal the world – one soul at a time.

I try and share my many Reiki experiences with you on a regular basis. Distance Reiki is something I started doing roughly 10 years ago, but I’m still just as amazed today whenever I receive emails, text messages and calls from happy people on how Reiki came to the rescue yet again. If you are in any kind of pain, please consider Reiki. Like so many others, you’ll be glad that you did.
