Reiki is good for whatever ails you. Sunrise Reiki Colorado has helped people and their animals heal from painful hips, knees, ribs, feet, ankles, hands, neck, shoulders, ears, spine and back injuries, migraine headaches, broken bones, sore joints, sore throats, post-surgery pain, pre-surgery anxiety, cancer, sinus pain, emotional trauma, aches and pains from the flu and even a broken heart. Reiki has no limits, can do no harm and always goes exactly where it needs to go. It sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? Well, take it from one who sees Reiki in action every day – it’s all true.
As a Reiki Master, I am simply the middle man who channels the energy and shares it with others. This amazing gift of healing is available to all of us. We just have to be open to receiving the energy. I know it sounds too good to be true. Believe me, I completely understand. This article is being written by a man who was once the world’s biggest skeptic, and one who took great pride in not believing in things that are now just part of my life. I didn’t know what I didn’t know. That’s the way it goes – Live & Learn. We should never stop learning.
Please don’t make the same mistake that I made years ago. At that time, I chose to suffer in isolation and let the pain rule my daily outlook on everything. If anyone would have approached me with a new healing concept that was an alternative to the pain, one that seemed a little too “woo woo” for me; I would have just ignored them and continued limping along in my misery. My thoughts were always along the lines of, “My pain is different. I have already tried everything and gotten many opinions from the experts. Take your ideas and all of your New Age ideas somewhere else. I’m not interested. Just go away and let me be alone with my pain.”
Being closed minded can hurt us more than we might realize at that moment. Thoughts are things, and everything expands. When we have negative thoughts without hope, we are only adding to our pain. Reiki heals physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We must be open to change, and willing to heal. This is the first big step that is required for anyone seeking to improve their wellness.
Years passed, and eventually I reached a point in my suffering where I became open to new ideas. The old methods of just masking the pain no longer worked for me. Things started to change when I became willing. That was a major shift as a whole new world of possibilities then opened up for me. Thankfully, things will never be the same. It took a while for me to get here. But, in this case, it’s better to be late than never showing up. I am so grateful that my closed mindedness finally came to an end after learning many lessons the hard way.
As I discovered the wonder of Reiki, I used it for self-healing and to help those closest to me. If I had a headache, I just put my hands on my head, and after a while the pain would go away. If my feet hurt after being on a tradeshow floor all day, I used Reiki at the end of the day and the pain went away. The next day, I would send Reiki to my feet before the trade show began and there would be no foot pain afterwards. If I had a big meeting or call coming up, I would use Reiki ahead of time to help me focus with a calm confidence. I was amazed at how I could use Reiki for goal setting. And so, it went. I began to incorporate “the miraculous medicine of all diseases” into all areas of my life. I have used it for everything, and it always delivers.
Little by little my experience grew, and I eventually reached the point where I am today – having the highest level of confidence in Reiki as I have seen it help so many with so many different ailments. There really are no limitations, except for the ones we put on ourselves. Be open to Reiki and experience the wonders of healing. This is something that should not be missed. Reiki is the gift that keeps on giving.
This past weekend, my family commented on how healthy and vibrant our Aspen trees looked. My response was, “Reiki.” Yesterday, I had someone tell me that I looked happier than I ever have. My response again was, “Reiki.” I finally took the leap and have gone “All In” with Reiki. I continue to leave behind things that no longer serve my best interests, lightening my load as I move forward and strive to reach higher levels. My beloved dog Sylvie was limping this morning. Instead of running out the door with my plans for starting the day, I took the time to give her some Reiki and ease her pain. Just like every other day, this is a Reiki day for me, and it feels great.
Looking at my day timer, it’s pretty obvious that there is no shortage of pain out there. Now is the perfect time to schedule your own Reiki treatment.
