After just ten minutes on the table and receiving Reiki for the first time, the woman in the accompanying photo requested that I share Reiki with her for an additional thirty minutes that she could pay for. She thanked me repeatedly and was fascinated by how Reiki relieved her stress and pain issues in such a short period of time. This happened during the Adams County Sheriff’s Office “Wellness Days” event for police officers that I attended, offering complimentary ten minute “samples” of Reiki for attendees.

This last weekend I shared Reiki for ten minutes with attendees of the Colorado Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Expo at the University of Denver. More than forty people came to see me for just about any kind of pain and stress issue you can imagine. We had a line out the door during the entire event as people waited for their ten minutes of Reiki. I could have shared Reiki with over sixty people if time would have allowed and as word spread how much better everyone felt after just ten minutes on my table. Word of mouth was alive and well. Many are now planning day trips to Evergreen so they can see me for full Reiki sessions. Others have expressed interest in learning Reiki from me.

During the event at the University of Denver, I met a 90 year old man who had prostate cancer and was in a lot of pain. A young lady was looking for some physical and emotional healing due to being hit by a car recently while walking across the street. Another woman grew up with a sister who tried to kill her when she was very young, and was doing her very best to release old memories. They were all smiling after just ten minutes of receiving Reiki.

So many others listed STRESS as their main reason for seeing me. They were all looking for some much needed relief, and just like always, Reiki delivered as it helped these people heal in body, mind and spirit. One man thanked me over and over for “doing God’s work.” I consider it an honor and my life’s mission to bring comfort to those who see me for stress and pain relief.

Rose Quartz is becoming my go to for all of my Reiki sessions. This beautiful crystal is the stone of unconditional love and we can all use a little more love. One of my favorite techniques is to place Rose Quartz behind a person’s heart as they lie on their stomach. Then, I send Reiki through the stone and their heart. Holy Fire fills their heart and it can be emotional as a deep healing takes place and old memories come to the surface. I also have many of my clients hold Rose Quartz in their hand during the session. Many times tears are shed as Reiki helps these brave souls release and recharge.

The summer of 2026 is one that I will always remember and cherish. I’m calling it The Summer of Reiki as I have been invited to share the healing energy at employee recognition events, senior living communities, police and fire stations and trauma centers to name a few. If you would like to invite Reiki to your organization or next event, please reach out. Your team will love you for it.
