When we become attuned to Reiki we learn to be efficient with our energy. Once we see how this new thing called Reiki works with us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, we understand the importance of not wasting our time and energy with things that no longer serve our best interests.
Negative energies are like oil and water with Reiki. They’re incompatible. Obviously, we choose how we spend our time and whether or not we live by the Reiki precepts or not. If we are walking the talk, negative energies don’t stand a chance. They might make an occasional appearance, but they’re gently led to the door when they do show up. You know what I’m talking about. It’s the same old battle – good vs. bad. This is an eternal competition that determines our destiny, and we control our own destinies. We choose to do good or to do bad. We’re the only ones who can make this call, especially when it comes to self-love.
Reiki gently leads us to whatever will serve our highest good. Mikao Usui, the Founder of Reiki, shared these words of wisdom with us – “Just for today, do not worry,” and “just for today, do not anger.” We strive to live a life without anger or worry and do our best to keep the energy flowing. This is really important if we want to grow. If you have been attuned to Reiki, let it flow, let it go and let it be. Reiki is always available to us and it’s best to keep it close to our heart where it rightfully belongs. Don’t forget about it. It’s always there for you if you need it. Take it from one who knows. Reiki always delivers. Always. Don’t forget to spend more time with it and allow it to just become a bigger part of you. I know many of us, including me, forget about it when it comes to self-healing. But, we should always remember we have access to this amazing life force energy.
Connect with Reiki for self-healing and keep the energy flowing. When we’re stressed or worried and angry, we tighten up and change our energy flow. Keep the energy from becoming constricted by simply allowing it to show up and be a part of your day. Embrace the Reiki precepts. This keeps us at a higher frequency, and operating at our best, as we choose gratitude over anything else. Dr. Usui was a brilliant man.
“Just for Today…
I will not Worry
I will not be Angry
I will be Grateful
I will do my work Honestly
I will be kind to every Living Thing.”
I remember one of my first Distance Reiki sessions with a woman in Maryland. She had become a Reiki Master in the late 80s. I was amazed that she was contacting me for Distance healing. This was the first time someone from out of state had reached out to me. She was in so much pain. God Bless Her and everything she was dealing with. When I asked about self-healing, she told me how she had just lost touch with Reiki over the years. I told her that we were going to do a “tuneup” and the amazing results changed both of our lives.
After 3 distance sessions she was more centered and back on track, as far as she could be anyway. She was dealing with some serious stuff, and Reiki was helping her with each difficult step she had to take. Reiki was still kind of new to me. I didn’t know what I didn’t know yet. As I type this I now know that God’s energy has no limitations. From what I can tell after many Distance healing sessions, Reiki is indeed God’s energy.
These early Distance sessions gave me even more confidence as I witnessed how powerful our intentions are. I was never the same again because her call to me came right when I was ready for it. Timing is everything. Distance healing changed my life and continues to be a big part of my life today. I love it and so do the people who receive the energy. It’s funny how Reiki works.
