Whenever I share Reiki with someone, stones and crystals are a part of the session, and the positive results can be mind blowing. I have the honor of hearing the amazing stories that my clients share with me after one of our appointments. One of the stones I always include is Blue Kyanite.
During the second half of my Reiki sessions, I ask my clients to lie on their stomach if it’s comfortable for them to do so. If not, I have them hold a stone or crystal while I work on them whether they are sitting in a chair or possibly a wheelchair. Blue Kyanite is a cool stone to hold. You know you have something powerful in your hands the moment you feel it.
“Blue Kyanites have a high vibration and create very rapid transfers of energy,” says Robert Simmons, co-author of “The Book of Stones.” I gently place Blue Kyanite at the base of my client’s spine as it immediately goes to work aligning their chakras and bringing them a wonderful feeling of being grounded, safe and well balanced. People with balance issues should always carry this stone on them.
Simmons goes on to say, “Blue Kyanite can link the physical, astral and causal bodies, catalyzing full consciousness in waking, dreaming and dreamless sleep.” I recently worked on a man who told me afterwards, “I left my body and went all kinds of places. I didn’t know what direction I was facing or where I was going and I didn’t really care. I felt safe, secure and at home.” Reiki has helped this man with his PTSD so much and I am beyond grateful to have been a part of his healing. His comments resonate with what Simmons described in the earlier quote. Blue Kyanite was always at the base of his spine for the second half of his Reiki sessions with me.
Once I place a Blue Kyanite or two at the base of a person’s spine, I am then led to different stones for different areas on their back and shoulders. My hands are then led to where the energy is needed. Blue Kyanite is the anchor. Using it during a Reiki session seems to always bring the experience to the next level. My clients tell me about their new clarity and focus. We are meant to be well and this amazing stone is a solid base to build on. Some estimate that it has been around for almost two billion years. Blue Kyanite was a part of our planet’s formation. I hope you have the opportunity to hold the amazing Blue Kyanite.
