In all the years that I have been writing about Reiki, none of the articles have generated the kind of interest that my recent post on The Reiki Shower has. So, with that in mind, I would like to elaborate a little more and hopefully provide some helpful tips that you can use. The positive results can be significant. Please have your Reiki recipient drink plenty of water before and after your session – especially if you are working with The Reiki Shower.
Pretty much every night I share Reiki from a distance as I sit in my sunroom looking at the stars. Years ago, a Master Shaman taught me to welcome, trust and embrace the visions that I receive while sending Distance Reiki. The visions gently guide me and help me focus my intentions in such a way that healing at the highest level is pretty much guaranteed – as Reiki always delivers what is for our Highest Good. I simply trust and allow the energy to flow.
The Reiki Shower is a vision I received years ago and knew that it was something special when I first experienced it. Then, to hear the positive feedback from clients afterwards was proof to me that the shower had tremendous power and was something that I needed to incorporate into my sessions more often. Today, I use it when my Guides show it to me with an emphasis on a full clearing.
When I’m using The Reiki Shower for someone who needs to release toxins, I may simply use my hands. My right hand being the shower, and my left hand being the Reiki recipient as I visualize the beads of light shining on their crown and flushing out their system. I may also use one of my Distance Reiki Teddy Bears; Rei, Brother Rei, Reimond or Rei Rei. Then, my right hand is the shower as I position it over the surrogate’s head and let the light flow just like water. I do this for maybe 5-10 minutes possibly longer at times. It doesn’t take that long for the magic to happen.
The Reiki Shower is one of the many visualizations and healing techniques that I share with my Reiki students during a class. As you relax and put yourself in a healing frame of mind, you will receive guidance from above. We hear God best in the silence as He whispers in our ear sharing visions and healing techniques that will help us relieve pain, whether it be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Trust the Divine guidance and visions that you receive while sharing Reiki with others.
Other visions I have received and incorporate into my Reiki sessions include “Saturn Rings,” “Reiki Comforter,” “Healing Bubbles,” “Ski Boots,” “The Swing,” “The Floating Flicker,” “Golden Bubble” and “Holy Fire Lounge Chair” to name a few. I love working with these visions as well as the sacred Reiki symbols. I guess I’ve always been kind of a creative type, so allowing these visions to grow and join my healing efforts seemed like a natural thing for me to do with the key word being Trust. I learned to trust the visions and trust myself in the process. The healing results always speak for themselves.
If you are interested in learning more about working with symbols and visualizations, I am planning on hosting a Reiki Level I & II Advanced Class sometime in January. Oh, and one last thing, when I’m using The Reiki Shower… I usually hear water going down a drain as toxins are released. Distance Reiki is a full sensory experience that should not be missed by any Reiki practitioner, as together we help heal the world – one soul at a time.
