By Jeff Baird, Sunrise Reiki Colorado

Thank You everyone who has contacted me recently with questions regarding my Reiki sessions and classes. My hope is that this article will answer those questions and update you on what I’m up to these days. You know how much I love all you guys. These are very exciting times for me. My happiness, peace of mind and gratitude have never been higher than right now. I’m a lucky guy who lives a blessed life.

Because of Reiki, I have been able to help so many heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I have met some amazing people who have become life long friends. The many animals I have helped will always remain close to my heart as well. This healing journey has given me some unforgettable moments that have helped me grow into a better person. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has worked with me and helped me put Sunrise Reiki Colorado on the map.

Our website has been up for just 14 months. In the first six months, we were visited by people from over 70 countries. Pain might be universal but so is healing. The global reach of my many articles about Reiki humbles me to the core. Thank You for taking the time to read my words.

People have asked me where I’m doing Reiki now, and when my next classes will be. If you have followed me, you know how hard I worked this last year offering Reiki at veteran centers, ranches, animal rehab organizations, massage businesses, community centers and wherever my mobile services would take me. I loved every minute of it except for a handful of bizarre events that I won’t go into here.

I approached each partnership with the best of intentions and always led with my heart. My #1 goal was to do the healing work and give Reiki the attention and credibility that it so rightfully deserves. My work speaks for itself and I am proud of the transformations I have been a part of. These experiences exceeded my wildest dreams. You people amaze me!

In September, 2015, I walked away from my dream job at ScentAir to pursue my healing work. Now, I am returning to ScentAir, the company I always loved, and I could not be any happier. It’s a dream come true for me, and it’s so amazing how it all happened. Somebody pinch me! The power of scent indeed.

Committing to spiritual work full time is not for the timid. Last year, my expenses exceeded my income as “Just for today, do not worry,” became my daily mantra. It is not easy to walk the talk, and I am proud to say that I more than walked it. The 401k that I built up when I was with ScentAir made it possible for me to go “all in” with Reiki. And, believe me when I say that every dollar earned from my Reiki sessions and classes was appreciated more than you will ever know.

Obviously, I didn’t do the healing work for the money. I did it to help as many people and animals as I could, and the results speak for themselves. When I committed to Reiki full time, I knew that this day would come where I would need to make some decisions that were in the best interests of me and my family. Their love and support is beyond anything one man could hope for. Like I said earlier, I live a blessed life.

I will always do Reiki as it is such a big part of me. But, this new opportunity is going to keep me very busy as I do my part to make the world a better place through the power of scent. Timing is everything and the time for ScentAir and I to reconnect is perfect. It’s the ultimate win-win and I plan to deliver at a very high level – just like I always do.

I will continue to do Distance Reiki treatments for my loyal customers at night and on weekends. A handful of my clients will continue to see me on weekends as well. At this time, I am not accepting any new Reiki clients. All Reiki classes have been tabled for the time being. It was such an honor to teach so many students about the power of Reiki. Thank You to everyone who attended my classes. They were so much fun! I know that Colorado is full of many gifted Reiki practitioners, and for that I feel like a proud Papa.

Once again, thank you to everyone who has reached out to me recently. I hope this article has answered your questions. I wish you happiness and the very best of everything. Hope to see you somewhere down the road.
