Dear Reiki:
My heart is filled with gratitude as I type these words of appreciation for all you continue to do in my life. You always amaze as you deliver healing at the very highest level, bringing us comfort and a deep sense of peace. You took my pain away all those years ago and have blessed me with the gift of helping others heal in body, mind and spirit. Everything expands and your unconditional Love is no exception. So, a heartfelt Thank You Reiki. I am eternally grateful.
Just yesterday, I was able to help a woman from a Distance who had her first Chemotherapy treatment recently as she fights cancer. You have helped me share your healing touch with so many who are dealing with cancer. The feedback these brave souls share with me humbles me to the core as I hear their words face-to-face, via email or text. Below is just one example from one of those mentioned earlier.
“I’m being treated right now by Jeff Baird. He’s been sending me long distance healing. I was pretty much at deaths door until he took over. I’m stage 4 breast cancer, spread to bones. I have 2 tumors one on neck the other in upper spine. Last night he sent me reiki, my tumor on my spine began pulsating. When we started working together, I could not eat, I was depressed, etc. I’m a new person because of him. My next scan is in March. My oncologist can’t believe I haven’t taken any morphine or oxycodone. I believe in the power of reiki, I also believe in miracles. Praying to go in remission sooner than later. God bless the healers.”
Last year, closer to home, I was able to help two family members who were also diagnosed with cancer – all from a Distance. I once wrote an article, “Reiki for Cancer and Everything Else.” Nothing makes me happier than to be a healing channel for those in pain. Bringing some comfort to a family member brings a joy inside of me that is hard to put into words. Here’s a text that came from a loved one recently: “Man you worked a miracle! I feel so clear headed and light. Thank you thank you!”
When friends are in pain, they know they can contact me and I will gladly share Reiki with them as well. Just last week, a friend reached out who had aches and pains from hard work. She owns a nursery and was preparing for the upcoming planting season. Here is the text that she sent me before receiving Reiki: “Good evening Jeff, this is Patty. I was wondering if you could send some wellness energy. Just overall body focusing on my hips and legs. The older I get the longer the soreness hangs on. Hope you and Tami are well.” That morning, I sent Patty some Reiki for about 20 minutes. Then, she sent me this text: “Wow, thank you. Felt a pulsating in my right hip, then some heat. Feel light on my feet so far.” followed by many grateful memes.
Speaking of Tami, the photo that accompanies this article was taken as I was sharing Reiki with her on Malibu Beach. I had stopped for a moment and said, “My God. It’s so beautiful. I need to take a picture and try to capture this moment.” This photo was taken with an actual camera and we did not see the “Reiki Waves” energy flowing until afterwards. The wavy lines speak for themselves. I call this photo, “Reiki caught in the act!”
Dear Reiki, I also want to thank you for the countless animals I have been able to help. There have been so many rescues who had been mistreated and welcomed the healing energy in disbelief and with their whole heart. They weren’t used to a man loving on them. Reiki is the highest form of unconditional Love, and these poor souls had been anything but loved by the real animals who abused them. The horses and the dogs and cats always kiss me when I share Reiki in person. I also get to hear the many stories of transformation from their owners when I send Reiki from a Distance.
There is a woman in California who regularly purchases 12 Distance Reiki Treatments from me. I have been able to help many of her family members and pets. Her feedback is always so helpful, as I use it for my intentions during follow up sessions. Reiki has helped her, as well as her son, sister, daughter-in-law and bird – all from a Distance. We communicate often and it always amazes me how Reiki delivers regardless of the situation that needs healing.
Reiki, I also want to thank you for bringing me closer to God. For years, I heard about people who had an “intimate relationship with God,” and it seemed so foreign to me. How was that even possible? Well, now I understand, as I walk in faith one moment at a time. You have taught me the importance of patience and trusting in your Divine timing. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
Manifestation is another blessing that you have given me. My visions are becoming reality as I look to The Heavens for guidance while keeping my feet firmly on the ground. How can I possibly express my gratitude for all of my dreams becoming real? The only way I know how, which is to continue to live by the Reiki precepts and to share your Love as I do my best to help heal the world – one soul at a time.
