Great things happen when we work together. I have heard countless champions interviewed over the years in business and in sports. The real champions who made such a lasting impression on me are the ones who always gave the credit to their teammates. They also talked about all of the hard work that went into making the victory happen. My dad used to say, “If it was easy, anybody could do it.” Champions just make it look easy, but to win as a team is anything but easy.

I’ve watched quarterbacks thank their offensive lines and CEO’s thank their employees. I’ve listened to my kids thank me and I have thanked them countless times for their help when I needed it most. Whatever the situation is, we get farther much faster when we work together.

I refuse to make this article a political one, but how can I ignore the importance of our politicians and medical professionals working together at this moment in time? Great things will happen by them working together with a shared vision.

In order for great things to happen we must work together as one team – the human race. There’s great strength in numbers when we are all seeing the same vision and working towards a shared goal. I learned about the power of goal setting a long time ago. All goal achievement begins with a victorious vision and a plan. You and I are both a part of our global consciousness, and it’s up to us whether we choose to add fear or hope. Nobody else can do this for us.

Bobby Kennedy said, “Some men see things as they are, and ask why. I dream of things that never were and ask why not.” Over the years, I have been a part of countless new product and service launches that all went from a vision to an actual thing because of me working together with so many talented individuals who put the vision and the team first. We made it happen by working together.

It’s no fun going it alone but sometimes we are doing our part by just being safe at home. If you can’t go outside, go inside. Try your best to make the most of this time, no matter how difficult it might be. All things expand including our thoughts. One thought can help us or hurt us. The choice is ours to make. I remember when I was so stressed out and facing an upcoming surgery and received the best advice I have ever received from another person. She told me, “Don’t forget to breathe.” Four simple words that help me so much with a simple reminder when I am facing a challenge ahead. Breathe.

My thoughts and prayers are with so many on this beautiful Colorado evening where the snow adds a layer of beauty on this mountain I call home. Sending love to the kids who live in abusive homes and school was their only safe haven. Grandparents unable to hug their loved ones. The couples who suddenly find themselves in close quarters when they were used to traveling 80% of the time and away from each other. The chefs who put their heart and soul into every dish of food that they make for us. The doctors and the nurses and the first responders. Those with health issues who are being told that they will have to wait a little bit longer before they can be treated due to the Corona Virus. The list goes on. I send love to the world tonight as I tap into the magnificent healing powers of the universal life force energy.

When I send Reiki during a Distance session, I am coming from a position of great strength. I’ve seen the power of Reiki so many times that my intentions are confident, focused and unlimited. This amazing energy helps with everything as its gentle touch can be so powerful. It may just tap someone on the shoulder who needs to understand that we are all in this together. Call it a gentle Reiki nudge. It might share a healing vision of what the world looks like when we work together. This is why Reiki practitioners send love to the world with Distance Reiki sessions. We understand that Reiki always delivers for one’s highest good. We always talk about healing the world one soul at a time.

Right now, working together by doing our part should be at the top of everyone’s list. If you would like to receive some pain and stress relief over the course of the next few nights with a Free Distance Reiki Session, just send a quick note to jeff@sunrisereikicolorado.com. You got nothing to lose but the pain. Share what you hope Reiki will help you accomplish, specific areas for us to focus on, etc. It could be something as simple as a good night’s sleep for a change.

People are hurting and being able to ease another’s pain brings me joy and helps me more than you will ever know. It’s the ultimate Win-Win. I am always saying that healing is a team effort, and it could not be any more obvious than it is right now. We Work Together.
