Jesus said, “Your faith has healed you.” He also said, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” Jesus performed many miracles, and never once claimed that he was responsible for the healings that took place. Instead, he gave credit to his Father in Heaven, and would say things like, “Your faith has made you well.” This is a perfect example of how healing comes from within. Faith is so powerful.

I have said numerous times that a person’s willingness to receive Reiki’s healing energy is almost as important as the energy itself. Some simply are unable to accept the highest form of unconditional love that comes from the source of all living things. Believe it or not, these people are more comfortable in their pain. It’s what they know best; and on some level, they are not prepared to release or end their suffering.

As a result, they block Reiki and do not allow it to enter their system. It’s a form of self-sabotage. “O ye of little faith.” Reiki practitioners strive to heal the world – one soul at a time. But, some of those souls are on a different path and never will heal in this lifetime. That’s just the way it is.

My intuition is very strong. I receive many inquiries from people, and I can usually tell very early on, whether or not someone is truly open to the healing possibilities that Reiki offers them. As Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki said, it is indeed “the miraculous medicine of all diseases,” when we are open to receiving such a gift. Some feel they are not worthy, or that they don’t deserve to feel better. Healing is the ultimate team effort and a recipient of Reiki does their part by allowing the energy to enter their being so that they can heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Self-hatred is is not compatible with self-love. From what I have seen, it’s one or the other. Some are so hard on themselves as they stifle their progress with their own destructive belief systems. We cannot love ourselves while hating ourselves at the same time. When we have faith, and believe in the possibilities of healing, the sky is the limit. But, we must love ourselves enough to believe that we deserve to heal.

I witness miraculous healings on a daily basis with people who want to get well. But, occasionally, I receive a call from someone who may be curious, or more interested in proving me wrong than getting well. I am an eternal optimist and I do everything within my power to help others heal. My track record is filled with success stories of people who healed from the inside as they worked closely with me. But, I do not take credit for the many healings I have witnessed. I am simply the middle man as I channel Reiki. It’s God’s energy, not mine.

Yesterday, was another amazing day at Sunrise Reiki Colorado. I worked on people and animals all day, and saw firsthand how Reiki is changing the lives of those who believe in their well-being, and are willing to take the necessary steps to feel their best. It takes courage to heal. These brave souls have made an agreement with themselves to get well in spite of what they have been told by others. I share a special bond with them by sharing Reiki, which brings hope and love to any situation. Who couldn’t use a little more hope and love? These loyal customers have become dear friends and like family. That is the power of healing love in action. I am as loyal to them as they are to me. We’re on the same team and striving for the same goal – their well-being.

Many people come to me after they have tried a multitude of things that did not work for them. If I am their last resort, that is okay with me. It’s an honor to work with these people who are looking for a wellness solution. I never back down from a challenge, and it makes their transformation even more special. A heartfelt Thank You to all of you who have reached out to me. Together, we are accomplishing great things. Keep the faith.
